Larry and his wife Rebekah are both graduates of Columbia Bible College. They have served together in the local church for over 24 years. They are blessed with five children: Sarah, Lawrence, Hannah, Abi, and Mary Margaret. They have also been blessed with a wonderful son-in-law, Ryan, who is the husband of their oldest daughter, Sarah.

Steven Gibson

Student Ministries

Steven and his wife, Emily met at Shandon Baptist in 2011. They began the exciting next chapter of their lives together on July 15, 2017.
Steven is a graduate of Columbia International University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry and Bible. He is also a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theology Seminary where he earned a Masters of Divinity.

Loretta is a compassionate counselor with a wealth of experience. She offers family, marriage, and premarital counseling services. Her services are free to church members.

JC has been attending and serving alongside Shana with Children's Ministry at Springvale since 2020. He recently answered the call to step into the role of Children's Ministry Director. His prayer is that God will continue to be present and work within the congregation of Springvale.
